Hey, I’m Carl, a PR agency founder and communications leader with 20 years’ experience. While skilled in all areas of PR agency practice, creative and strategy work remains my heartland.

I’m an established problem solver with a deep understanding of connecting brands and audiences by developing smart, insight-driven culturally on-point solutions that deliver commercial results. All of which basically means I love taking often complex brand-y stuff and turning it into something that folk on the street will care about.

A proven winner of new business, I founded Switched On in 2015 growing it to north of £750k in fee income, before evolving it into a specialist, largely remote-based shop called Fully Charged Collective. I’ve built teams and led them with integrity, empowering them to grow, create and deliver amazing work.

And… well, there may have been one or two awards in the process. Just saying.

I’ve got no qualms cracking a brief alone but let’s face it, it’s heaps more fun when you have good people around you. Either way, you’ll find me ever curious, sleeves rolled up and with my eyes on whatever the prize is.
